I am in a flurry, but loving it!
In the kitchen department I've made fresh cranberry sauce.
I have finished the pistachio stuffing for my turkey. And I have everything set to make the potato gratin (I can say that cause we're in Europe, there's no potato bake happening for Christmas here!)
In the fabric sewing department, last night I made three softie 'Elves' for the kidlets. Still got to stuff the Ollie's. This doing everything in triplicate does make for a lot of work at Christmas...
I've made a red
We're having ricotta, raspberry and chocolate french toast fingers for breakfast tomorrow.
I can't wait!
OK! Back to that mandoline and bag of potatoes. And turn up the carols!
Fa la la la la!

Wishing you all a very happy and safe holiday season. Can't wait to see what you all did, and especially to drool over all those summery feasts. It's raining here, so no snow for us this year.
Thank you all for reading my much neglected and very sporadic blog. I'm going to get better next year!

Merry Christmas to my beautiful parallel-life-living friend (kind of...plus the snow and better crafting and apparently COOKING skills!). It's tough being away from home. I'm a little melancholy tonight too. Especially since we were meant to be going but left it too late to book the tickets and then couldn't use my frequent flyers, making the whole enterprise far too expensive to consider.
Still there's something special about having a little all-family Christmas, right? It sounds like yours will be beautiful. More carols! xx
Joyeux Noel a tous!
Ooh, wishing you a glorious and blessed Christmas, Rhi! J x
Happy christmas, Rhi! I love you - my food processor is broken and I want to make scalloped potatoes. Was going to have to slice them by hand, but you've just reminded me I actually have a mandoline at the back of the cupboard. Kiss!*
I just visited your Etsy shop & my God, it's amazing!will definitely be ordering something for my little cousin!
